Horseback riding sport holidays vacation riding yard facilities hall

A stay in the 674-edes castle hotel Palatinate offers good possibilities for a riding vacation or horseback riding holidays in the southern Palatinate. In Essingen-Dreihof (about 12 km southeast of the 674-edes castle hotel Palatinate) there is a horseback riding yard. The riding sport ground consists of a jumping place and two riding halls. The riding yard is a riding company, which is recognized from the FN (Federation Nationale).

The training of young, but also older horses to show horses as well as the training of young, talented riders belongs to the job of the riding company. Guest boxes, partly built as outdoor boxes, are available for guests who bring their own horses. So it is also possible for horseback riders to accomodate their horses.

The director of the riding school is the riding teacher Christoph Butzler. The riding on the riding place, in the riding hall and on the terrain is the main focus of the training. Besides this, the riding teacher also gives riding lessons in jumping and dressage.

Horse coach trip carriage trips covered wagon trip

During a stay in the 674-edes castle hotel Palatinate, you have a perfect possibility to get to know the nicest corners of the region in the Palatinate forest with a carriage or a covered wagon trip. A winery in Rhodt below the castle Rietburg (about 3 km west of the 674-edes castle hotel Palatinate) offers coach trips and covered wagon trips.

Let yourself be pulled by the two "heavy" ones, the horses of the winery, through the vineyards and learn a lot of "new" and "old" things about the viniculture. You can also absorb the landscape, the calming hoofbeats of the horses or the manifold sounds of nature and experience a piece of "good old times".

The program can also be arranged according to your individual wishes.
Further possibilities:

A "rolling wine tasting". You will get to know the different sorts of wine. All questions you may have about the viniculture will of course be answered during the wine tasting.

Round trips through the vineyards, forest and meadows around Rhodt.

The group size for the carriage or coach trip or covered wagon trip should be 8 to 12 people, the horse coach trip takes about 2,5 to 3 hours.
